LOVELAND PASS, CO
Cameo and Jason traveled from Florida to celebrate their Summit County Elopement at Loveland Pass in Colorado. We met them at a cabin they were renting for the week, a cute little A-Frame beside the Blue River in Silverthorne, Colorado with views overlooking Buffalo Mountain. It was a perfect spot to tie the knot and although it had been raining heavily earlier in the day, the storms cleared in time for their evening ceremony along the river. After they signed their marriage license, they shared some champagne by the water before we headed up to Loveland Pass for portraits.
It’s always so hard to predict the course of mountain weather, but we all agreed it would be worth the chance. We were there for only a few minutes before it began to snow, which was a real special treat for these two Floridians. Jason kept remarking that this was possibly the most beautiful place he had ever seen. Although it was cold and we lost feeling in our fingers with the wind-chill, they powered through for what ended up being an incredible mountain sunset. Congrats guys!
