LITTLETON, CO
Ashley & Alex celebrated in style for their elegant Manor House wedding in Littleton last month and we couldn’t be happier for these two! The heavy rain in the weeks prior made for a lush and vibrant green landscape, with the rolling foothills creating an idyllic countryside setting for their wedding. Luckily, the weather shaped up for the end of June and they had a beautiful day for their celebration.
It had been about a year since we had last seen these two for their Great Sand Dunes engagement session, and we were so excited for them to finally join their family and friends who had traveled from near and far to celebrate.
As the morning unfolded, we met up separately with Ashley and her bridesmaids at the charming cottage on the property, while Alex and his groomsmen prepared for the day at the modern Maven Hotel in Denver. Ashley shared an emotional moment with her dad at the cottage before meeting Alex for their first look. Afterward, the two exchanged personal vows before their wedding ceremony in an intimate moment where they affirmed their love and commitment to each other. Following their first look, we took some pictures with their sweet pup, Stella, before meeting up with their wedding party.
Guests gathered at the Manor House for their ceremony in the warm afternoon sun as Ashley and Alex tied the knot with a stunning backdrop of rocky foothills and a view that extended to the distant cityscape of Denver. The touching ceremony was officiated by Alex’s sister, Stacy, who personalized it perfectly for these two in a way that sparked laughter and brought many to tears.
We caught the tail end of golden hour for portraits before Ashley and Alex joined their reception. Their reception was filled with heartfelt moments, from speeches to first dances. A spin the bottle dance-off broke out during the night, and guests were cheered for as they stepped into the center of the circle to show off their best moves. Alex’s nephew Easton also got the chance to try his hand at DJing as Seamless Events walked him through a few basic techniques before the youngster dropped some sick beats.
Late into the evening, guests snuck up on Alex, tossing him in the air before he had a chance to put down his beer, which rained down on the group. Ashley had her moment in the spotlight too, as she was lifted above the dancefloor in a chair, waving to her friends and family like the queen of the party on her throne.
At the end of the night, everyone gathered at the front of the Manor House in an epic bubble send-off for the newlyweds! Enjoy our favorite images from their special day. Congrats guys!
