Shelby & Wes ventured with us to Crested Butte for their fall engagement photos at Kebler Pass earlier this month and we soaked up the last kiss of fall color that the mountains offered.
Arriving a day early, we saw that most of the autumn colors in town had already faded, so we decided to head up to Kebler Pass, where the vibrant aspens still offered beautiful scenes for their Crested Butte engagement photos. We met Shelby and Wes just outside of town, and they followed us into the pass, ready to capture memorable moments in this picturesque spot these fun Crested Butte engagement photos. Our first stop was by a small pond, where we captured a few engagement photos, then continued to a quiet stretch of road to take photos in the middle of the path, showcasing the open, scenic views that make Crested Butte engagement photos so unique.
Our second stop was a highlight—a spacious field with expansive views of East Beckwith Mountain, ideal for Crested Butte engagement photos that embrace the landscape’s full scale. Shelby and Wes are both in the midst of medical residencies, balancing life between California and Utah. Despite the distance, they’re committed to making it work, looking forward to the day they can live together permanently. Their upcoming wedding in Aspen is not only a celebration but a chance to unite their lives, marking the end of long-distance and beginning of their shared journey. By the end of the shoot, Kebler Pass had delivered everything we hoped for in a fall setting.
The secluded spots and vibrant autumn colors showcased Crested Butte’s scenery, creating stunning Crested Butte engagement photos. As the sun dipped behind the mountains, we captured the golden glow across the Anthracite Range before heading to the aspen field behind Horse Ranch Park, where Shelby and Wes playfully climbed on logs and skipped through the grand aspens.
