THE LANDING AT ESTES PARK WEDDING

We joined Kelly & Dave for their wedding at Estes Park wedding early October and couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful fall day to celebrate their marriage. We spent a laid back morning at their venue, The Landing at Estes Park, which is located along the Big Thompson River at the base of Rocky Mountain National Park. With views overlooking Longs Peak, gold was emerging from the fall foliage as the trees began to turn, making for an especially striking scene.

Kelly & Dave met online, and Dave proposed while they were off-roading in New Mexico. These two are the most down to earth, genuine and kind people. We consider ourselves lucky to have crossed paths with them. After her maid of honor helped her into her gown, Kelly met Dave down by the bridge for their first look. Dave was overtaken with joy when he saw Kelly in her gown and wiped away tears in an emotional moment they shared together. We took portraits of the two of them alongside the river right before the clouds gave way to rain. We sought shelter with their wedding party under the deck at the venue and waited for the rain to pass. Luckily, the storm cleared just in time for their ceremony to start.

It was a sweet and joyful ceremony, with many laughs and tears shared. There wasn’t a dry eye in the audience as Kelly and Dave exchanged vows under the warm October sun. After their ceremony, they joined their guests for an evening of fun, dancing and celebration before their bubbly send-off. We could not be happier for these two as they start the next chapter of their lives together!
