We met up with Jessa & Reid for their Fort Collins engagement photos in Old Town Square this fall. After weeks of traveling to the mountains for sessions and weddings in the midst of fall’s golden glory, there’s something wonderfully grounding about capturing a love story right here in our own town, and it was an absolute treat.

Jessa and Reid may have only moved to Fort Collins less than a year ago, but you’d never guess it. Their enthusiasm for exploring our charming town is contagious. From the eclectic shops to the cozy coffee corners and the lively local music scene, they’ve embraced everything that makes Fort Collins special. It’s no surprise they chose Old Town Square as the backdrop for their engagement session—a place where they’ve loved spending time.

We wandered through the bustling area, stopping at our favorite spots for engagement photos that captured both their romance and the lively spirit of downtown. From celebratory cheers and drinks by the fountain at Bondi Beach Bar and Grill to quiet embraces on a warm fall evening, we captured Jessa and Reid’s time together amidst the iconic beauty of Old Town Square, including stopping at one of our favorite places, the glowing red wall of ivy near The Forge.
What stands out most about Jessa and Reid is their shared sense of adventure. Whether hiking the nearby foothills, attending local events, or discovering new eateries, they’ve made this community their own in such a short time. Their bond is grounded in this shared passion for discovery and it was so fun to get to know these two and hear about their favorite spots in Fort Collins!

Our time in Old Town Square with Jessa and Reid was a reminder of why we love what we do—celebrating love stories in the places that mean the most to the couples we work with. As the session wrapped up, we couldn’t help but feel grateful for this unique corner of Colorado we call home, including all the beauty and character in our own town. We ended the session with an evening cityscape that captured the glow of Fort Collins. We’re always seeking out shots that ignite our creativity and challenge us to see beyond our usual perspectives.

As much as we enjoyed capturing their Fort Collins engagement photos, we’re even more thrilled for what’s to come next summer. Jessa and Reid will be tying the knot in Crested Butte, right in the heart of wildflower season.
